ABOUT ME
Hi, my name’s Stella! I enjoy connecting with people through storytelling, whether I'm writing articles, scripts, website copy, or social media posts.

While attending Arizona State University for a Bachelor of Arts in English, I wrote the scripts for three short films, one of which won the Best Screenplay Award at the 2019 ASU Film Festival. I also won a writing contest and earned an award for a portfolio of my articles, all while completing two internships that gave me experience with writing, editing, and social media.

After graduating in 2018, I kept that creative spark alive by becoming a Digital Producer for the TV show RightThisMinute, which involved writing and revising 9-12 stories per shift. From there, I became a Content Writer at a marketing agency and a Social Media Specialist at a music magazine.

I’m currently making the most of my passion for cinema as a Movie & TV Feature Writer at Static Media. I'm also a Communications Specialist at Junior Achievement of Arizona and look forward to growing in my role there. I love where my writing journey has taken me so far, and I can’t wait to see where I’ll go next!
SCREENWRITING
Screenwriting is one of the most rewarding forms of storytelling for me. There's nothing quite like coming up with a story and seeing it come to life on screen!
Most recently, I wrote the script for a short film called "Yes!" which won the Best Screenplay Award at the 2019 ASU Film Festival. (The moment I received that prize is shown in the photo to the left.) Upon hearing this exciting news, the literary magazine Superstition Review featured me in a blog post.

I've also written the scripts for two other short films, "Into The Darkness" (2017) and "Cold Blood" (2016). I look forward to doing more screenwriting in the future!
